Rule Updates
|
UPDATED SUBSTITUTE RULE Please take time to read the following updates to the substitute rule for the senior section: - If a team has at least 8 of its skaters available to play then NO substitutes will be permitted and the team will play with those available on the day. - If a team falls below the minimum requirement of 8 skaters then they may substitute a player of the equivalent standard, but ONLY up to the minimum required 8 players (ie. if a team only has 6 skaters, 2 players may be brought in to reach the minimum of 8 skaters) - ALL substitutions must be run past the committee for approval otherwise they will not be permitted to play. - Registered players are responsible for their substitutes and any game/match penalties will be attributed to them....so be careful who you pick as your replacement!! *Please note that it is important you let the committee know in advance of your absence for any games so that we are aware of how many players a team will have available and so that your team are not left with too few skaters! These changes have been made to try and keep the league as fun and fair for you all and to keep lots of ice time for those who originally signed up to take part! If you have any queries on this then feel free to speak to Carl Hastings/Dave Welham or any of the other committee members. |

Saturday afternoon timings We have more ice time available on Saturday afternoons that we thought. Therefore instead on playing 3 * 15s we will play 20+20+15. |
|
Youth goalies:-
There are 5 goalies for 6 teams so we will be
rotating them around the teams. We will try and share them around evenly so that every team gets to play with every goalie. The goalies will be put in a league based on the number of goals conceded. This will be used to allocate them to the playoff and finals games. |
| Senior schedule has been updated on 8th May to take account of available ice time. |
| If senior substitutions are appointed by the League (see right hand column of Senior Teams) then they will be issued with substitute shirts. These subs will carry their own penalties and points personally. |
|
All players in both leagues must wear standard ice-hockey equipment as required by their official league. This means that neck-guards, full grilles and half visor rules are to be obeyed. |
